Okay peeps, seriously now here! I came to work the last two days and I don't know if it's the rain making people crazy or the lack of moonlight. People in the midwest drive better in the snow than they do in the rain. That is a FACTOID that should go into the books. People are insane-OH!

Second situation, and I'm serious about this too, get your non-genetically modified 'crisis garden' seed pack while they last. Yup ... you heard it here first, CRISIS GARDEN TIME, apparently the MESSIAH isn't actually going to feed us! How fooking disappointing is that?

CRISIS GARDEN SEED PACKS, On sale ... at a ... oh hells bells ... top 40 radio station near you? Get them while they're hot! (NON GENETICALLY MODIFIED, YAY)

Bloody hell people, just plant a victory garden already!

Moving on ... an actual real live post from the Sur-meister today, with funnies and quotes and all ...

Lipstick in School (Priceless!)

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem.

A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done.

She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.

He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers ... and then there are educators.

ஜ~§Quote of the Day§~ஜ

A man's country is not a certain area of land, of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle and patriotism is loyalty to that principle.
George William Curtis

(keep that in mind while you're planting your 'crisis gardens'!)

ஜ~§The Question Of The Day§~ஜ

What is the most beautiful view you've ever seen? Have you been there, or do you plan to visit? If you have one, share a picture.

Ireland, when I win the lottery, I'm packing up and getting the hell off this sinking ship!

6WBMO book ... there's a LOT of info in there!

ஜ~§What I'm Watching§~ஜ

Wow there's been so much good TV on lately! Heroes has been fantastic, LOST is of course PHENOMENAL! Hell's Kitchen cracks me UP! Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer and Numb3rs are going steady and strong. I've stopped watching Flashpoint, the characters just aren't grabbing me. I'm really looking forward to a new season of Army Wives, True Blood and Mad Men.

I'm loving Cupid, it's got such a smart cast, and it's really enjoyable. Of course CBS's Monday line-up is always good. Okay? Enough about TV? Really? Sheesh peeps, TV is a national PASTTIME, like hotdogs and baseball. Okay fine!

Love Me Just Leave Me Alone lyrics

I saw you standing there
You had gold dust in your pocket and
You combed barbed wire
Through your hair
You thought I didn't notice
The skin on
Your teeth had a tear
To make me notice
You started to shout
Then you and all your minions
Started flapping your
Tiny arms all about
They said
You were a wise man
When did they teach
A wise man to pout?
I tried to forget you
but you tied bells to your name
They jingled everytime i thought of you
without shame
I tried to be unlovable
Why couldn't you do the same?
What's the matter?
Does your love need a home?
All right then, love me
Just leave me alone
Your mother was a wolf bite
Your daddy was a cigarette
Your brother was a rose bud
Crossbreed with a car wreck
Your sister was a stockbroker
But you ain't nothing
But a turtleneck
whats the matter?
Does yout love need a home?
alright then!
love me just leave me alone.
I tried to be unlovable
Why couldn't you do the same?
What's the matter
Does your leave need a home?
All right then, love me
Just leave me alone
It's not your little boys smile
It's not your little boys name
It's those big boy hands
That are the ones to blame
Well, I tried to be unlovable
Why couldn't you do the same?
What's the matter?
Does your love need a home?
All right then, love me
Just leave me alone
What's the matter?
Does your love need a home
All right then, love me
Just leave me alone
Love me just leave me alone

Curried Chicken

Ingredients:

1 lb. chicken breast
2 teaspoons coconut extract
12 oz. nsa chicken broth
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 teaspoon ginger
1 or 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon white pepper
2 cloves of fresh pressed garlic
1 red pepper
3 cups cooked white rice

Preparation:

Add chicken broth, coconut extract, and all spices together in a glass bowl. Mix well.

Cut chicken breast into strips and add to the mixture to marinate for 30 minutes. After marinating, cook the chicken in a skillet until it thoroughly cooks and is nice and brown.

Chop the red pepper into small chunks and combine with cooked white rice. Add the rice/pepper mixture into a casserole dish. Pour remaining marinade over the rice and lastly add the chicken on top.

Note: Because of the dangers associated with bacterial contamination from the marinade which has come in contact with raw poultry, we suggest that you boil the marinade 2 - 3 minutes beforing using it again on the finished product.

Cover and place in a preheated oven at 300 degrees and let cook for 50 to 60 minutes.

Brightest Blessings,
~Surry~

If you think the drivers are affected by the moon in your stomping ground, you have GOT to spend a weekend in Montreal during festival season. You'll spend the next month curled up in the fetal position in a closet.

I refuse to eat anything unless it is genetically modified. Sooner or later, I'll hit on the right combination to score me the super powers I'm looking for.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go to a school and kiss some mirrors.

How did you know I'm having intestinal issues today! :P

Really intriguing quote...I like it!

As for my view...someday I'll post it, but it is the view of Mt. Baker from Chetzemoka Park in Port Townsend, Washington. *Sigh* I would get married there if I could convince Pokey (and any guests who would have to schlep themselves there) to do it!

Lipstick and the toilet! HAH! I loved that. Now that's using your head.

I'll have to run out and get my The World is Ending seed pack. Why haven't I heard about those? ;)
